I have at the end of this Japanese VHS tape of the Garou Densetsu/Fatal Fury The Motion Picture this featurette with a live-action Terry Bogard (in a really bad wig) fighting some thugs, and some footage of the at-the-time newly released Fatal Fury 3.
Well, I uploaded that video to YouTube . . .
. . . I'm still don't get what the plot of all that live-action stuff is supposed to be!

Apparently, it's been confirmed that KOF XII will be coming out to PC as well. So those who don't own a PS3 or 360, and realize that a PC doesn't do that whole 'region' check ordeal...

Spent the morning getting all blistered over KOF 2000 on the '8' setting. Triumphed in the end but was still left wanting. Anyway-this post is about MAXIMUM IMPACT 2. I think this game really deserved better press than it got. I personally think its the best SNK game in years (NGBC was pretty flash too) -and for one reason. My friends will actually play it. Tekken/Soul Calibur converts to a man they outright refuse to indulge in any 2d fisticuffs with me-much to my chagrin as i continually power geyser the AI,leaving a hollow sensation. However-boot up MI:2 and theyre clamouring for a joypad-even taking time to learn the DOA thrashings! Whod've thunk it?? Is it the new combo chains? Is it the sparkling high res flash effects? Or is it just the conditioning of a polygonal audience being thrown a bone? Whatever it is...its been awesome fun.
but on another note-how frikkin good does Kof xii look?????? *gibber*

SNK fans rejoice. In the Fatal Fury 15th anniversary box set came with a movie that explains the 'History of Fatal Fury' as told by Terry Bogard (Seems like Rock was curious as to wondering about his father and his hero's pasts.)
Special appearances by Duck and Mary ftw.
Japanese only, but true fans will pretty much know the story if they've really sat through and played the games. Such a nice treat.

Greetings fellow neogeoligists! Long time SNK whore here-first time post. I've been rediscovering my love of the crack shoe multiverse this year via neogeo battle coliseum and Kof 2002. And now- a question..is the PS2 'Art of fighting anthology' worth a punt? It was never my favourite of the snk series (being more a kof/fatal fury/world heroes man myself) but still..there are precious little 2d follies i can fling my cash at these days? Whaddaya think?

Nice! This is the new 3D Samurai Spirits that's being worked on. Apparently a Loke Test and a beta have been already performed.

I have to say though; Really liking the new characters. It's like they're branching out the SS universe by adding in new characters with different ethnic backgrounds. Already we now have an Afro Samurai, A Viking and a Spanish (Could be French) fencer also it looks like there may be an English knight in the fray as well as some chick who resembles Caska from Berserk. This should be pretty interesting. Let's just hope Falcoon doesn't have anything to do with this series.

Athena Asamiya is not my lover! She's just a girl who claims that I AM the one..... but the kid is not my soooon....
I figured I'd spam some new KOF related fanart I did...
I tried 'digitally painting' the background and it came out better than I would imagine.
Anywho, As you can see, the 'baddie laddies' are replaced by all of Kyo's rivals (Malcontent Ash, Eternal Rival Iori, and the DNA-generated flames of K'.) and the 'kids' are replaced by Team Japan (The Fanboy Shingo, The Immovable Daimon, and the Bishounen Benimaru), plus instead of a spaceship, Kyo is riding away on a red motorcycle (Akira perhaps? Naaaah....)

This is a really odd request, but it's under even weirder circumstances that I can't look this up myself. XD;
Attention any fans with SNK artbooks -- If you have an artbook featuring the Christmas dressed Mai picture (she has a little Santa dress on, white boots, a Santa hat, and a big sack of boxes slung over her shoulder) with a caption underneath could you PLEASE scan/photograph the caption so I can see what it says? Or if you know Japanese well enough, if you could tell me what it says? XD There's a version in one artbook that has the entire poster and writing underneath, too, and that might be what I need instead. x_X;
